Jo Gifford Q & A Interview
Can you share your back story with us, a bit about your childhood?
I was always an entrepreneur – even as a child I ran charity events, a school magazine and made jewellery to sell in the playground!
Were you a determined child or has that developed?
Yes, I was.
Can you share something about yourself that is not widely known?
To be honest I share most of my story online and I am very transparent! Nothing I can think of is a secret, but feel free to tweet me with questions.
How and when did you know you wanted to become an entrepreneur?
I always dreamed of owning my own business, and in my teens I knew I wanted to work for myself.
Tell us about your businesses…
I work with pocket sized businesses to ignite their brilliance and get their message out to the world.
What did you give up to get to where you are today? What did you have to sacrifice?
I sacrificed fear – and have to keep on doing so!
What’s the hardest thing you’ve had to do?
Learn to step into my own possibility.
What are your goals for 2016 and beyond?
To grow my business even more, and to become an even stronger UK name for women-led businesses.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time? Settled down with family, taking a career break, or juggling both?
On a retreat in Bali, or on a book tour. Maybe both!
